Democrats have spent nearly four years calling Trump a racist for wanting to end illegal immigration. Congress has prevented the president from constructing his wall across the border and is obstructing his attempts to reform our immigration rules. But a new poll has come out that crushes the left’s agenda. Perhaps they’ll start singing a different tune.
From the moment Donald Trump announced his candidacy for president, he made fixing our broken immigration system a top priority. And from the very beginning, Democrats opposed him.
You have to wonder why American politicians were against protecting America’s borders from illegal immigration. The damage done to our country and communities by “undocumented” immigrants and workers is undeniable.
Illegals take jobs from American workers. They become a burden to our health care system and government programs. And the open border in the South has become a revolving door for rapists, murderers, drug traffickers, and human smugglers.
Any sane person would support Trump’s efforts to secure the border and reduce illegal immigration. I guess there’s not a sane person left in the Democratic Party.
But as they continue to undermine Trump’s attempt at keeping us safe, a new poll has come out, dashing the left’s agenda.
A majority of Americans say they want to see more deportations of illegal aliens and increased security along the United States-Mexico border, a new survey finds.
The latest Pew Research Center survey reveals that nearly 70 percent of all Americans believe increased security at the porous U.S.-Mexico border is very or somewhat important — including more than 90 percent of Republican voters.
Another 54 percent of Americans said more deportations of the nation’s 11 million to 22 million illegal alien population is very or somewhat important. Republican voters by a majority of 83 percent said increasing deportations of illegal aliens is important ahead of the 2020 presidential election. [Source: Breitbart]
A whopping seventy percent of those asked want to increase security at our border. Six in eleven Americans want more deportations of illegal aliens. You’d think Democrats, after seeing these kinds of numbers, would change their tune.
But they still insist that wanting to deport illegals is cruel and uncompassionate. Um, what about the Americans that suffer from unchecked illegal immigration? I know I’m not the only American who knows many people who can’t find work—or are underemployed—because illegal immigrant workers have devasted their industry.
Do Democrats not care about these Americans? Does their “compassion” only extend to people who broke the law to get here, or dragged children across the Mexican wilderness as anchor babies?
Democrats really have no legs to stand on when they protect illegal immigration. They ignore the massive damage this situation does to our society. Yet even as Americans clearly want our laws enforced, Democrats continue to push their terrible, pro-illegal policies.
Democrat-run states across the county have become sanctuaries for illegal aliens. They shield people who are a danger to Americans, denying the federal government from arresting and deporting them. These same states are in ruins, most notably California, which is literally burning away.
Meanwhile, Democrats divert more funds to social programs that help illegals, as their own infrastructure crumbles.
And they accuse Trump of being uncaring?
The good news is that the Trump administration has continued to enforce the law, despite the left’s plans. Deportations have surged over the last few months, by an epic 450 percent. Funny how this has been going on as the media’s been distracted by the impeachment sham.
As the left spent time with their bogus impeachment push, Trump has actually had more freedom to do his job. Democrats are so absorbed in their sham hearings, they don’t even care that thousands of illegal have been removed since August.
Maybe that’s the only way we can get things done in this country: distract Democrats with fake news-driven controversy.
At least Trump hasn’t lost sight of why we elected him.
