77 year-old Joe Biden just wet the bed during the most important speech in his 50 year-long political career.
During what was set to be the most climactic moment of the entire Democratic National Convention, Joe Biden misspoke yet again and told viewers Thursday evening the truth – that he can’t accomplish anything.
Biden said, “there’s never been anything we’ve been able to accomplish when we’ve done it together.”
The fact that Biden screwed up such a crucial speech – which he was clearly reading from a teleprompter – only adds to previous doubt that this is a man who simply is not all there mentally, and is likely more fit for a nursing home than the Oval Office.
During the rest of the speech Biden claimed that the United States is facing four crises and he is best equipped to fix that even after decades served in the Senate and White House where his accomplishments are hard to come by.
Biden suggested those four challenges are: “the worst pandemic in over 100 years. The worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. The most compelling call for racial justice since the ’60s, and the undeniable realities and just accelerating threats of climate change.”
The former vice president promised victory and “unity” at the end of his speech concluding the convention where the Democrats – per usual – focused purely on division.
“I believe there’s only one way forward, as United America — a United America,” he said. “United in our pursuit of a more perfect union. United in our dreams of a better future for us and for our children. United in our determination to make the coming years bright.”
“Are you ready? I believe we are. This is a great nation. We’re a good and decent people. For Lord’s sake, this is the United States of America,” he said.
“There’s never been anything we’ve been able to accomplish when we’ve done it together,” he then stated. According to the transcript as prepared for delivery, this line should have read: “And there has never been anything we’ve been unable to accomplish when we’ve done it together.”
The prepared transcript shows Biden began to trip up a few lines earlier. Where he was supposed to say “As a united America,” he skipped the word “a” and corrected himself by repeating the line with the correct article.
The DNC – focused on attempting to deceive Americans into believing that their candidate is not mentally defunct – shared the clip with an incorrect transcript, which fixes Biden’s verbal fumble.
President Trump jumped all over the Democratic candidate on Thursday – calling him out for his less than effective career in politics, “In 47 years, Joe did none of the things of which he now speaks,” Trump wrote on Twitter soon after the speech. “He will never change, just words!”
Earlier in the day, President Trump campaigned near Joe Biden’s hometown in Pennsylvania where he also blasted Biden by pointing out that he and the Democrats have abandoned middle America.
“Joe Biden is a puppet of the radical left movement that seeks to destroy the American way of life,” Trump said early in the campaign speech. “They don’t understand, and probably when it happened, they’d say, what did we ever do? Joe Biden has pledged to hike your taxes by $4 trillion in the largest tax hike in history. And they’re going to waste the money on the Green New Deal, the Green New Deal. You know what you get out of that? Nothing. Nothing except debt and death.”
Trump said Biden now represents the wealthy leftists who disparage conservatives, “Joe Biden is the candidate of these privileged liberal hypocrites who hold you and your values in disdain,” he said. “But you can send them all a thundering message on election day by voting for Trump-Pence.”
“From Scranton to Easton, to Allentown, we’re going to fight for every job, every family, every neighborhood, and every vote,” Trump asserted. “Together we’ll unite citizens of every race, color, religion, and creed, as one people, one family, one glorious nation under God. That’s another word they don’t want you to say, God. You know that, right? Did you see they were doing something last night that was extremely basic, and always has had the word God in it, and they decided to take the word God out.”
Trump posited that if he lost the 2020 election, the American Dream would be at risk of disappearing. “They’re coming to get you. This is where they’re coming from,” he said. “And me, we, we’re the wall between the American dream and total insanity, and the destruction of the greatest country in the history of the world. We’re all that stands.”
