Climate Alarmists Went on Strike—But Trump Supporters Did This Instead

Last week thousands of left-wing activists went “on strike” to protest climate change. Many, including students skipping school, staged more protests to complain about “global warming.” But as they left a trail of garbage and debris in major cities, Trump supporters went to Los Angeles to make another kind of impact.

In recent years, we’ve seen left-wing groups organize environmental rallies to protest climate change. Not sure how you protest a supposed global phenomena—but there ya go. These liberal groups orchestrate these events to make it seem like all Americans are demanding radical changes by the government to fix the problem.

Over the last week, students walked out of school to protest climate change. Oh my God! Do you mean young people, who already hate school, were so motivated by global warming that they’d skip class just to send a message!? Or was it they just wanted to leave class and stir up drama, because they’re teenagers?

Once again, demonstrations were held all over the country. Left-wing morons by the thousands stood in squares and streets, demanding that their liberties be revoked by the government in order to fix “climate change.”

But, once again, these Democrats left the cities they visited much worse off than before. Funny how these liberals care so much about the earth—yet they can’t even recycle their own protest signs!

I guess they really are socialists—they want the government to do everything for them, even clean up their cities.

But as students were wasting time skipping class, a group of Trump supporters put their money where their mouths were. An effort sparked by Trump’s comments about Baltimore has turned into a nationwide movement. They’re cleaning up cities across the country. And now, they’ve set their sights on perhaps the worst of them all: Los Angeles.

Conservative activist Scott Presler organized a street clean-up at a homeless camp in Los Angeles on Saturday and estimated that he and his team cleared about 50 tons of trash from the area…

“If people are feeling inspired, don’t just tweet and Facebook,” Presler told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Stop talking, start doing.”

The pro-Trump activist said he got a group of about 200 volunteers together in Los Angeles by using Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to get his message out and encourage people to sign up for his nine-hour cleaning haul.

His team was equipped with hazmat suits — many of which were donated — as well as masks to cover their mouths, heavy-duty gloves and safety instructions to avoid being exposed to life-threatening diseases including typhus, typhoid fever and flesh-eating bacteria. [Source: Daily Caller]

Wow. As liberals hung out in comfortable parts of cities—just a few steps from Starbucks—Trump supporters were going to regions rocked by homelessness to clean them up. They had to wear hazmat suits because of the toxic conditions. They faced typhoid fever and flesh-eating bacteria. Why? Because they care about this country, this city, and the health and well-being of other Americans.

What did liberals do? Oh yeah, they complained to the UN and left trash everywhere. Hmm…

It seems that all Democrats do is complain. Yet Presler has inspired Americans of all stripes to roll up their sleeves and do something to help. Democrats’ ideas are always about what other people should be doing for them. But Trump supporters are willing to do the dirty work if it means a cleaner and safe America.

Funny how Democrats turned LA into a toxic waste zone. But it’s Trump supporters who are trying to turn it around. If I were more naive, I’d say Presler and his people will inspire Democrats to join in and do the same.

But I know better. Democrats will ignore all of his hard work, take the credit, and try to make things even worse the next time.

Makes you wonder how anyone could support a party like that.
