CNN Under Fire After Contributor Caught Praising Hitler

CNN is facing severe backlash after it was uncovered that a writer for the news outlet has posted several tweets praising Adolf Hitler.

Social media users demanded that the network respond after discovering the tweets from one of its freelance contributors, Adeel Raja.

On Sunday, Raja wrote in a now-deleted tweet: “The world today needs a Hitler.”

Late last week, Raja responded to a tweet from former Vice President Mike Pence, which stated, “America stands with Israel.”

Raja tweeted: “A history of creating terrorists and standing with them!”

“Adeel Raja, who lists himself as a ‘Freelance Contributor at CNN’ on his LinkedIn profile, appears to have published several articles for CNN’s webpage,” The Washington Examiner reported. According to the LinkedIn profile, Raja has held the position from August 2013 until the present day.

Coincidentally, the far-left outlet has been churning out anti-Israel propaganda left and right amid a violent conflict between terror group Hamas and United States ally Israel.

Raja has posted praising the Nazi leader.

“The only reason I am supporting Germany in the finals – Hitler was a German and he did good with those Jews!” Raja wrote during the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The following day, Raja tweeted, “Hail Hitler!”

A spokesperson for CNN said that they had “never heard of him” and that they were “looking into it.” CNN later admitted that that he reported for the far-left news organization.

“He is also an executive producer at Pakistani ARY News,” the Daily Mail reported. “In 2016, he won the Agahi Award for Investigative Journalist of the Year, according to his Twitter account. The Agahi Awards are an annual series of awards for journalism in Pakistan.”

Daily Caller social media manager Greg Price tweeted: “This guy has 54 articles under his byline at CNN. They should probably fire whoever does their background checks.”

“The unearthing of Raja’s controversial comments come amid the escalating violence between Israel and the militant group Hamas in the Middle East, which is at its most violent since the 2014 Gaza War,” Fox News reported.

“Palestinian militants have fired hundreds of rockets into Israel, the majority of which have been intercepted by Israel’s “Iron Dome” missile defense system. Israel has also responded with a series of airstrikes, which have taken out some of Hamas’ senior leaders.”

“In response to HUNDREDS of rockets in the last 24 hours, the IDF has struck a number of significant terror targets and terror operatives across the Gaza Strip, marking our largest strike since 2014,” the Israeli Defense Forces wrote on Twitter. “We are currently striking more terror targets in Gaza.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Hamas that there will be more retaliation where that came from.

“We’ll do whatever it takes to restore order and quiet, and the security of our people and deterrence,” Netanyahu said on “Face the Nation” on Sunday. “We’re trying to degrade Hamas’ terrorist abilities and to degrade their will to do this again.”
