Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has doubled-down on her ‘Green New Deal’ proposal on Tuesday; insisting that the country will “guarantee” housing and health care and be “100% carbon-free” soon.
“We are transitioning to a more just and more dignified economy that is 100% carbon-free and one that guarantees more housing and health care than ever before., said AOC.
“We will not leave any community behind during this process. Not only will we not leave anyone behind, but those who were left behind, now come first!” she added.
Ocasio-Cortez also pushed her ‘Public Housing’ on twitter, saying that the program would create 240,000 “good jobs” and improve the living standard for 2 million people, among other things.
Senator Bernie Sanders also stepped in to aid AOC’s far-left push.
“At this time of great crisis, we must keep going forward to solve the existential and systemic threats facing us today, including fighting climate change and ensuring every American has a safe place to live., he said.
