DeSantis Breaks His Silence On Biden’s Child Abuse

Following reports that President Joe Biden and his administration planned to link school lunch funding to progressive gender ideology, Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) has threatened to fight back.

DeSantis said he would make sure Florida was ready to fight back if the Biden administration cut funding for public school lunch programs due to his state’s decision to ban teachers from presenting classroom instruction on gender identity and sexual orientation in kindergarten through third grade.

“We’re fighting Biden’s purposefully destructive policies, such as denying school lunches to states that don’t want to follow woke gender ideology in the schools,” DeSantis tweeted.

“We’re ready for whatever Biden throws our way,” DeSantis said. “And you know, yes, it’s partly the inflation and gas—partly intentional destructive policies such as attempting to eliminate school lunch programs for states that don’t implement transgender ideology in schools; give me a break!”

“He is totally off his rocker,” DeSantis added. “We’re fighting that, don’t worry. So we’re just ready to defend the taxpayers and hard-working people in Florida, and I couldn’t be happier for it.”

DeSantis was referring to reports that Biden intended to connect free or low-cost lunches for students to school and state policies, demanding that they comply with transgender non-discrimination policies. According to the USDA, the initiative is a result of the Biden administration’s extension — by executive order — of Title IX’s prohibition on gender identity and sexual orientation discrimination.

“Schools that have received funding from the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), a department within USDA, are required to prohibit gender identity and sexual orientation discrimination, according to the department. It also stated that allegations of such treatment must be handled,” a Fox News Report said.

“This administration is saying, ‘If you don’t do what I want, I’m going to take your lunch money,’” said Ian Prior, executive director of the Fight for Schools organization. “The federal government’s involvement in school nutrition and lunch programs is frightening and disgraceful.”
