Elon Musk Rescues Ukrainian Forces With One Push Of A Button

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has stated that SpaceX’s Starlink satellite services were now available in Ukraine with even more terminals on the way to the nation.

Musk made the remarks on social media in response to a tweet coming from Mykhailo Fedorov, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, who had tweeted: “@elonmusk, while you are trying to colonize Mars — Russia is trying to occupy Ukraine! While your rockets have successfully landed from space — Russian rockets have attacked the Ukrainian people! We ask that you provide Ukraine with the Starlink satellite stations and to address the insane Russians to stand.”

Ukraine has highlighted the posted tweet, writing: “Dear @elonmusk, Ukraine is needing your support. Your actions and your stance matter. An appeal by the Minister of Digital Transformation here.”

“Starlink service is now up and active in Ukraine,” Musk replied. “More terminals are en route.”

Fedorov later replied: “Starlink terminals are on the way to Ukraine! Thank you @elonmusk , thanks to everyone, who supports Ukraine!”

The Ukrainian government sent a tweet: “Thanx, we appreciate it.”

“Starlink gives low-latency, high-speed broadband internet across the world. Within each coverage region, orders will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis,” the company said. “Using advanced satellites that are in a low orbit, Starlink allows video calls, streaming, online gaming and other high data rate activities that have historically not been possible while using satellite internet.”

“Starlink is ideally better suited for areas where internet connectivity has been unreliable or not available,” the company said. “People across the world are using Starlink to get access to health services, education and even communications aid during natural disasters.”

The plea coming from the Ukrainian government comes after the Russian President Vladimir Putin launched an invasion into Ukraine late this week that has seen heavy fighting in just about all the major cities throughout the nation.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reportedly refused to be evacuated from the nation’s capital city of Kyiv as the Russian military forces have attacked the city and all surrounding areas.

A senior American intel official with direct information of the conversation that United States officials had with Zelensky when he was said to have been asked to evacuate said that Zelensky responded: “The fight is here; I need ammo, not a ride.”

“Anyone who would like to come over here and defend our nation, please come, and we will provide you arms,” Zelensky told the news on Saturday. “Anybody who defends this nation will be glorified.”

Zelensky offered the same thing earlier in the week, stating, “We will a weapon to anyone who would like to defend the nation. Be ready to support this nation in the squares of our cities.”

“We will lift all sanctions on all citizens of Ukraine who defend this country as part of territorial defense with their weapons in hands,” Zelenksy said.

NATO has activated the NATO Response Force for the first time ever, which has readied thousands of soldiers who are a part of the multinational force that consists of air, land, sea, and special operations troops.

NATO Sec. General Jens Stoltenberg has warned during a news conference on Friday that Putin’s “objectives aren’t limited to Ukraine.”
