Conservative news reporter Ben Shapiro, once a top leader of the nationwide ‘Never Trump’ movement, has come out in support of the mistreatment of the January 6th protesters who are being help unjustly in Gulag-type conditions by the Biden White House.
During his appearance on HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher, the reporter told a panel of liberals that there were around 1,000 pro-Trump patriots on January 6th who should be removed of their civil liberties and destroyed by Biden.
“Forty-thousand did not attack the Capitol,” he said. “There were around 1,000 people. That is not making light of their evil, they will all end up rotting in jail, as they should.”
Shapiro’s remarks come as a movement of prominent conservatives, led by Republican Congressmembers Matt Gaetz (FL), Paul Gosar (AZ), Louie Gohmert (TX) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA), fight for the ralliers who are innocent until they are proven guilty by a court of law.
“I think it is outrageous and I see no problem in saying that these Jan. 6th defendants are being treated as political prisoners,” Greene said during her appearance on Newsmax TV.
“One of the things I have done is toured the border, and I saw one of the detention facilities for illegals, and I can tell you that these illegals…are treated far better than January 6 defendants,” she said.
While on the House floor, Gaetz mentioned the “14,000 hours of tape could reveal who was animating the violence,” hinting that deep state agents could have provoked the violence on January 6th through certain clandestine means.
“Whether they were related to federal agencies or not, it raises great questions that we are not able to get to this information even as Congressmembers,” he said.
While real Republicans and conservatives are now taking a stand, Shapiro seems to be going on liberal talk shows and supporting the heinous violations of Americans’ civil liberties, so long as they are Trump supporters. It’s not surprising that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg gives so much traffic to Shapiro’s blog as the neocon pundit is obviously controlled opposition.
