Fox News liberal analyst Juan Williams put out a stunningly stupid warning in his op-ed on Monday, saying that he thinks Republicans are laying the foundation to “steal an election.”
Williams says that the GOP were trying to deflect attention from Jan. 6th — not due to wanting to evade responsibility, but because they want to cause another incident on January 6th 2025.
“We must talk about Jan. 6th., Williams started. “I’m speaking about Jan. 6th, 2025. That is when the U.S. Congress will certify the winner of the 2024 election. ‘How to Get Away With Murder’ was a TV crime show. As the 2024 race nears, Trump’s current drama should be called ‘How to Get Away with Murdering Democracy.’”
Williams continued on to say that refusing to vote for a commission to investigate the planning that led to Jan. 6th — was only the beginning in creating the foundation to steal the 2024 election.
“Push the few honest Republicans left in D.C. by scaring them with hints of the commission’s possible finds and the damage those details might do to them., Williams said.
Step two, says Williams, was altering state-level laws in ways that he said would benefit Republicans more so than Democrats.
“Step Two — Alter the election laws in states with Republican-majority legislatures., Williams said. “Georgia, for example, new laws to take power away from local boards and the secretary of state to certify any election results.”
Williams stated that the third move was to “suppress the ballots of people who are unlikely to vote for them: young and poor people, union members, Latinos, Blacks, and Asians.”
He went on to push the idea that even inside the GOP, efforts were happing to push out anyone who would not back former President Trump — thus protecting his base who think that the 2020 election was stolen.
