Top Republican Rides Shotgun During Big Rig Freedom Protest

The Republican Party has remained largely silent on the convoy of truckers protesting Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates and the ongoing state of emergency which bestows the cognitively deficient president with dictatorial powers.

Inspired by the ‘Freedom Convoy’ in Canada, a U.S.-based, pro-freedom protest recently took hold, with truckers driving cross-country in defiance of Joe Biden’s medical tyranny.

Canadian ‘Freedom Convoy’ truckers met a harrowing fate when uber-left Prime Minister utilized an Emergency Order to combat their growing influence. Due to the Emergency Order, federal officials in Canada were permitted to seize assets, freeze bank accounts, remove children, even kidnap the protestors’ dogs.

Luckily for the U.S. ‘People’s Convoy,’ government officials have yet to enact that level of attack, but Capitol Police remain on high alert as they circle around the nation’s Capitol.

The “People’s Convoy” arrived in Washington over the weekend, completing an 11-day journey from California to protest government restrictions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The group had its first ride-around on Sunday, circling the Beltway with big rigs, RVs, and pickup trucks. The convoy met again to repeat the path on Monday and Tuesday but stayed off the roads on Wednesday due to rainy weather.

So far the only conservative politician willing to voice their support for the ‘People’s Convoy’ is Texas Senator Ted Cruz.

Cruz met with organizers of the “People’s Convoy” at Maryland’s Hagerstown Speedway on Thursday, riding shotgun as he joined the caravan for its fourth day of riding around the Beltway.

Cruz arrived at the speedway, which is about an hour outside of Washington, D.C., at approximately 9:30 a.m. as he climbed into the front seat of one of the trucks, with organizers indicating the senator would be leading the convoy.

Earlier this week, Senate passed a resolution that would officially end a state of emergency for the China Virus pandemic, thus removing Biden’s dictatorial powers that coincide with an emergency order.

The House is unlikely to pass the resolution, however, and the White House has already voiced its opposition to the measure.

Biden has the power — why would he want to give it up?
