Former President Trump will lead the North Carolina GOP Party’s annual State Convention scheduled to start on June 4.
Trump’s second public appearance since leaving Washington will be at the Greenville Convention Center:
Other speakers will be Governor Kristi Noem, Congressman Dan Bishop (R-NC), Congressman Ted Budd (R-NC), and Congressman Madison Cawthorn (R-NC).
Trump’s first public appearance post-office was at CPAC in February. Nearly seven in ten people at that event reported that they wanted to see Trump run in 2024.
The news of Trump’s new appearance comes after the GOP caucus ousted Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-WY) from her leadership role on May 12.
Trump said that Cheney “is a warmonger whose family pushed us into a never-ending war, depleting our wealth and draining our Great Military, the worst choice in our nation’s history.”
