During a gay pride parade close to Ft. Lauderdale, on Saturday evening, a pickup truck went through the parade, killing one and seriously hurting another. Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz was there in a nearby car.
The mayor jumped on the incident and labeled it “terrorism” without having facts.
“This was a terrorist attack against LGBT Americans., Ft. Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis said to reporters. “That is exactly what it was. Not an accident.”
Liberal tweeters quickly connected the incident to the new DeSantis low that allows people endangered by riots on public streets to drive forward if they are in harms way. This law is aimed to protect innocent citizens from antifa terrorists who take over streets illegally, surrounding people, bashing their cars and in many cases shooting at them. It has nothing to do with parades like the one that was happening in Ft. Lauderdale.
Police asked people to wait for more information. Which of course did nothing to hold back the barrage of liberal conspiracies.
Today, at the start of the Stonewall Pride Parade a truck struck two pedestrians in the 1700 block of NE 4th Ave. #FLPD & @WMPD411 send our deepest condolences to those injured and to those affected. Mayor Trantalis’s terrorism claim spread like wildfire through the media, who did at least ask if he could be counted on to know what he was talking about.
The mayor outright called this a terrorist attack. You can’t tell us one way or another whether this is an accurate characterization of what happened? Surely by now this has to be clearer.

The facts are now coming out on the event. It was apparently not terrorism as the Mayor said it was. It was supposedly an accident and had nothing to do with Governor DeSantis. The law he enacted would not permit an attack against a permitted demonstration such as this. It protects innocent Americans from the left’s terroristic antifa riots.
In this case, the driver was actually even a parade participant. His foot reportedly got stuck and he accelerated. I would say the Mayor owes the nation an apology and Ft. Lauderdale a resignation letter.
Governor DeSantis had nothing to do with this. Even still, as of this writing, Twitter is accepting the hashtag #DeathSantis to run wild.
Twitter is allowing people to blame DeSantis and transform the accident into another division point to push liberal disinformation. Twitter is not labeling the tweets as disinformation. It is not doing anything to slow the spread of lies despite the fact that everyone understands it could.
Twitter does not care. They are allowing thousands of tweets to push disinformation about the incident. The platform does not care about the harm they are doing, going by their own
UPDATE: Driver and victims of Pride parade crash were all part of Fort Lauderdale Gay Men’s Chorus. Chorus president doesn't believe it was an attack. https://t.co/wB6LPBJ0ND

Big Tech has trained us to look at all things through the political lens. A tragic accident happened in Florida and the reaction is to blame Governor Ron DeSantis. #DeathSantis Can we stop the insanity? Jesus is King. Not Trump. Not Obama. Not Biden. Not your political ideology.
